CO2 reduction targets make cylinder heads more complex, leaving little room for the components that surround them. Thanks to its compactness, the 56×2 actuator is easier to integrate into cylinder heads. Its robustness offers unchanged engine reliability, even with higher complexity due to the CVVL architecture. It is equipped with a high accuracy position sensor to recalculate exact mechanical valve lift.
