Sonceboz picks up the “Industrial Excellence Award Switzerland 2017”

The “Industrial Excellence Award Switzerland” for 2017 has been awarded to Sonceboz. It recognises excellence in terms of both the group’s industrial strategy, and its implementation on an operational level. Sonceboz will go on to represent Switzerland in the European final taking place in October.

June 2017 – Sonceboz has just received the Industrial Excellence Award Switzerland 2017. This Swiss prize is part of a Europe-wide competition set up to reward the pertinence of corporate strategy and the quality of its execution as a way of promoting industrial competitiveness. It was judged by an international panel of professors from partner universities, including the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) and the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), both in Lausanne. After selection based on a dossier in early 2017, Sonceboz picked up the top prize after a detailed audit conducted by the panel at the Boncourt site. This prize rewards procedural excellence at every level: from the strategic model to continuous improvement measures, from the quality of industrial operations to the remarkable commitment displayed by staff. Sonceboz will be flying the flag for Switzerland in the European final, which will take place in Berlin on 4th October.
