Sonceboz awarded for its innovation

Sonceboz has been recently awarded by one of its key customer, Gambro, for its innovating LoadSense Technology.

The medical company Gambro, leader in developing, manufacturing and supplying products and therapies for Kidney and Liver dialysis, has attributed the 2013 Innovation Award to the Swiss mechatronic company based in Jura Bernois, Switzerland. For decades, Gambro has been the first to market many ground-breaking innovations. By designing and delivering solutions to dialysis clinics and intensive care units, Gambro, which is part of the Baxter International Inc. Group since September 2013, offers not just improved treatment quality, but also improved efficiency.

Sonceboz, with its innovative LoadSense motor, has proved its added values supporting Gambro in improving the compactness of blood pumps for extracorporeal therapy which has generated massive costs savings.

The LoadSense drive technology developed by Sonceboz improves overall motor performance by making up to 50% reduction size and by significantly reducing energy consumption. Thanks to its low noise design, the motor runs silently and fits perfectly for operating closed to patients.

To develop and manufacture tailored linear or rotary motion systems for Medtech applications, Sonceboz displays a wide array of electromechanical technologies: brushless motors, slim drives, linear actuators, sensors, gear trains or lead screws and electronic controls.
