With numerous vehicle functions transitioning from engine-driven to electrically powered systems, the CPM150 EHPS delivers an efficient and robust steering solution. Its compact integrated electro-hydraulic pump provides up to 200 bar of pressure and 25 l/min of flow, ensuring precise steering assistance across a wide range of operating conditions.


Beyond improving energy efficiency compared with conventional engine-driven hydraulic systems, Sonceboz EHPS technology enables the electrification of steering while maintaining the high-performance levels required by commercial vehicle applications. The system also supports vehicle manufacturers in reducing fuel consumption and emissions while preserving proven steering architectures.


Equipped with redundant 24V electronics and developed according to the highest functional safety standards, the CPM150 platform supports vehicle architectures targeting safety requirements up to ASIL D. These capabilities provide an ideal foundation for advanced driver assistance functions and future autonomous driving applications.


Building upon its expertise in safety-critical steering systems, Sonceboz is also preparing the next generation of steering technologies. These are the Electric Power Steering (EPS) solutions offering further opportunities for integration and control flexibility, as well as Steer-by-Wire architectures designed to unlock new possibilities for autonomous drifving, software-defined vehicles and vehicle design optimization. As part of these future architectures, Sonceboz is developing a Hand Wheel Actuator (HWA) to provide precise steering input detection and configurable force feedback, creating an intuitive connection between the driver and the vehicle.
